Subject: This reminds me of Oahu, Hawaii with Diamond Head in the background.

Technique: Finished size is 8 x 10; It was worked on 14 mes interwoven canvas with 6 ply embroidery floss.
I downloaded this image off the internet, then used my printer to make a pattern. I adjusted the paper size specification for the printer to be 8 x 10 inches, then directed the printer to fill the entire page with the image. What I got was a perfect 8 x 10 inch pattern which could be traced onto blank needlepoint canvas.
I noticed I could see the canvas underneath the darker stitches. After I colored as-yet-unworked portions of the canvas with a dark blue Sharpee (the color isn't critical as long as it is dark), the coverage looked much better.
