| Subject: | This is a Laurel Burch design. I downloaded a picture of one of her scarves from the
internet, isolated a portion of the design, and used that as my template. Her designs appear on
on coffee mugs, purses, and textiles. So a web search to find out how to purchase them! |
| Technique: | Finished size is 8 x 10; Darice 14 mesh plastic canvas 8.5 x 11 with
6 ply embrodery floss.

This project was absolutely delightful. It was the right size for travel. By using plastic canvas,
the needlepoint needed no frame or blocking. I felt the coverage was not adequate
(The white canvas backing shows through the dark colors of the background. Next time,
I will use clear plastic (instead of white) canvas with a cross stitch. |
